Analysis of Development Stage and Market Structure of Fire Engineering Industry in China

In 2015, China's fire engineering industry was about RMB 119 billion, an increase of 16.1% from RMB 102.5 billion in 2014. In recent years, the market capacity of China's fire engineering industry is shown in the Figure as follows:

With the opportunity of building smarter cities, the fire industry will gradually transform into a smart and integrated management service model in the future. In the newly-promulgated Outline of the 13^th Five-Year Plan for National Economic & Social Development, it is proposed to build harmonious and livable cities, accelerate the construction of new-type cities, strengthen the construction of modern information infrastructure, promote the development of big data and IoT and build smarter cities. The "13^th Five-Year plan" has clearly identified eight major information projects, including application promotion of IoT, innovative development of cloud computing, Internet + action and big data applications. The informational development is bound to become one of the future trends of fire engineering industry.
